How to Overcome Negative Self Talk

If you pause and take the time to observe, you will notice a voice inside your head, that’s constantly speaking to you. Have you have ever paid attention to what that voice is actually saying? Is it positively encouraging or constantly criticizing you?

It’s important to notice, because the way you speak to yourself matters.

Our negative self-talk often convinces us that we cannot do something or that we are not worthy of the them. We then form mental blocks, either out of past experiences, overthinking, or a combination of both.

Self-talk is the most powerful form of communication, because it either empowers you, or defeats you.

Here are a few powerful tips on how you can address your negative self-talk.

1. Become Aware of You Inner Critic:

The ‘busyness’ of life causes us to ignore our thoughts. Writing down your negative thoughts will allow you to become aware of your thoughts and beliefs that are overtaking your life

2. Practice Positive Self Talk:

Start by following one simple rule: Don't say anything to yourself that you wouldn't say to someone you love & care for. Be gentle and encouraging with yourself and focus on what’s great about you.

3. Create a Self-Care Routine:
